“For 15 years we have been inviting you to explore together a different way of being and doing. This year, the arguments took us before the invitation, and “together” is perhaps what we discovered that we can lose or not, depending on our actions.
Whether we relate to history to seek for inspiration or simply to get to know ourselves better, or we look to the future to understand and seek solutions, the present always challenges us to explore new versions of how we produce and present. No other period in the last 15 years has challenged us more!
Relationships are built over the time, with patience, attention and care. Artistic relationships are consumed in space and time. When they become relative, care means distance, space becomes virtual, and time means waiting. We realize perhaps more clearly than ever that art means first and foremost attention and care for people and the space we have and build around.
eXplore festival #15 proposes a series of forays-essays on the relationship between movement, space and time, from the perspective of a dialogue between body-image-sound. What other moment would be more appropriate to experience new ways of artistic, real, authentic existence?
