we ARE one is experimenting with metaphors and ideas that reflects upon the psychological, social and political aspects of alienation. We search in uncharted territories through writing, body movements, soundscapes and materials.

Inger-Reidun Olsen (iRo) (b.1976)

Choreographer, dancer and performance artist based in Oslo, Norway.

iRo holds a B.A. in Choreography from Oslo National Academy of the Arts (2000-03), and a two year degree from 1-year Pre-study contemporary dance program in Oslo (1996-98). Her artistic work moves at the intersection of performance art and choreography, and involves performative works in traditional theaters, black boxes, galleries, out doors in public spaces, in the forest, on the screen and happenings. Her work is combining the body movements/actions, materials and objects, sound and sometimes text and voice.

iRo have presented her work in United States, China, Mexico, Spain, Sweden and Norway. She is awared with a 3-year grant for artists, 2014-17. She is a mentor and curator, and curated the CODAhaus program at Oslo International Dance Festival 2015. iRo is at the board, and one of the co-founders of PAO- Performance Art Oslo.
