Self-Curated Room

Self-Curated Room

Designing innovative participatory and collaborative spaces that increase public awareness and mobilization represents a challenge. The ”Self-curated room” project aims to provide opportunities to explore methods of transdisciplinary exposure, with the role of contributing to increasing the involvement and participation of young audiences in cultural activities.

WASP Studios has realised in 2021 a digital art project that includes a research stage of the archive of productions made by and at WASP Working Art Space and Production in the last 9 years, of selection and development of a first digital version of curatorial projects made and supported until the present. The database includes various forms of artistic language, from choreography, performance, video, sound-art and architectural objects/fragments, film, installation, text.

A first selection is offered to the public in the form of a self-curated exhibition, on the website www.waspmagazine.com, and will be completed with new titles, throughout 2022, when 10 years of activity will be celebrated in the WASP space, Ion Minulescu street, 67-93 (Flaros Factory).
