„Este corpo que me ocupa” este prezentat în cadrul eXplore festival, cu sprijinul Ambasadei Portugheze în România și Institutului Camões.
Dacă ar trebui să rezum modus operandi la un singur cuvânt, care să mă motiveze și să mă definească pe mine ca artist, aș spune că funcționez și lucrez cu „rămășițele”. „Rămășițele” sunt ceea ce rămâne în urmă, ceea ce a fost uitat (pentru că nu există crimă perfectă). „Rămășițele” sunt cele care creează „sentimentul de goliciune”. Și sunt o dovadă a absenței prezenței. Sau, mai precis, reprezintă prezența unei absențe. În ele găsim dovada care alimentează începutul pentru sarcina imposibilă de reconstrucție a lumii, din când în când. Mă atrage ideea să știu că a fost ceva înaintea mea aici și că ceea ce a rămas a rezistat timpului.
De asemenea, „rămășițe” sunt și ceea ce se află între corp și „prezența celuilalt în corp”, adică un zbor permanent către lucruri care încă nu există, care urmează să (de)vină. Asta este ceea ce mă preocupă: cum să arăt ceea ce este acolo? Cum să lucrez cu un material atât de volatil precum vidul? Cum să prezint lucrurile „dintre lucruri”? Și, chiar mai dificil, cum să le pun în scenă?

“Este corpo que me ocupa” is presented in the frame of eXplore festival, with the support of The Portuguese Embassy in Romania and The Camões Institut.
If I had to summaries my modus operandi in a single word, that which motivates and defines me as an artist, I would say that I function and work with the „remains”. The „remains” is what is left behind, that which was forgotten (for, there is no perfect crime). The „remains” is what creates „emptiness”. And it is the proof of the absence of presence. Or, more precisely, it is the presence of an absence. It is in the „remains” that we find the evidence that provides the beginning for the impossible task of re-building the world, once and again. I am attracted to this idea of knowing that something was here before me and that what remained, resisted.
The remaining is also what lies between the body and “the presence of the other in the body”, a permanent flight towards things that are not yet, towards things that might be(come). And this is what I am concerned about: how to show what is not there. How to work with such volatile a material as emptiness? How to present the „in-between” of things? And even more difficult, how to perform it?
