Cum ar arăta pereții camerei tale, sau pantofii, dacă brusc ar începe să vorbească?

Care este diferența dintre vietăți și obiecte? De exemplu, pentru tine, ce deosebește asfaltul de pozele din cărțile cu povești? Poate sună banal, dar există culturi care cred că toate lucrurile din lume sunt vii și au o minte a lor. Prin acest workshop supunem această idee la un test. Aici intră în scenă fantoma noastră. Cum aș putea să o descriu?

Nu e o fantomă obișnuită, e o fantomă dansatoare. Nu are casă sau corp, așa că se plimbă din loc în loc, din obiect în obiect, din om în om, căutând un loc în care să poposească. E atât de ușoară încât se mișcă foarte repede și poate intra în obiecte în orice moment, dându-le viață, mișcându-le și făcându-le să vorbească cu voci care mai de care mai amuzante și mai ciudate. Care e următorul loc în care va ateriza fantoma noastră? Aici începe spectacolul…

Născută în 1974, Colette Sadler este un coregraf și dansator scoțian de renume internațional, ce abordează divertismentul cu umor prin prisma dansului post-modern. Crează lucrări dedicate copiilor din 2011 și, de asemenea, predă, susține dezbateri și scrie despre activitatea ei într-o multitudine de contexte, inclusiv la HZT Berlin (unde predă cursuri la nivel de licență) și la RSAMD Glasgow.

What would your bedroom walls or even your shoes say if they could suddenly talk?

What is the difference between living and non-living things? So
, for 
example,
 between
 you,
the
 pavement
 and
 the
 pictures
 in
 your 
books? It
 may 
seem
 obvious
 but some cultures believe that all things in the world are alive and have a mind of their own. In this workshop performance we want to test that idea out. So 
where
 shall 
we 
start? This is where our ghost comes in to help. How
 shall

describe 
our
 ghost?

Well, our ghost is not any ordinary ghost, it is a dancing ghost. It has no home and no body so it wanders around from place to place, thing to thing, person to person, looking for a place to stay for a while. It is so light it can move around in space very fast and jump into things at any moment, making them come alive, move and talk in funny and strange ways. Where will our ghost land next? This is where our performance begins…

Born in 1974, Colette Sadler is an internationally acclaimed Scottish choreographer and dancer, who takes a humorous look at entertainment through the lens of post-modern dance. She has been developing work dedicated for young audiences since 2011 and also regularly teaches, gives talks and writes about her work in a range of contexts including at HZT Berlin (undergraduate studies) and RSAMD Glasgow.
