În cadrul acestui workshop vom studia diferite strategii și structuri dramaturgice necesare actiunii politice. Vom analiza calitățile dramatice și performative ale anumitor proteste și altor evenimente ce nu țin de domeniul teatrului. Vom încerca să ne folosim de cunoștințele și experiența unor practici dramaturgice, dar și a unor metodologii creative pentru a le aplica într-un context social mai amplu. Întrebările pe care ni le punem sunt: „Ce tip de acțiuni politice plănuim și generăm prin propriile metode artistice? Cum ne putem folosi abilitățile pentru a construi noi împrejurări sociale?”
Ne vom concentra în principal pe conceptul de coregrafie socială (Andrew Hewitt). Participanții vor discuta noțiunile de public și privat, politic și estetic.
Scopul acestui workshop este de a face vizibilă poziția dramaturgului ca artist și practician în domeniul artei contemporane și modul dominant de producție.

In this workshop we will explore different dramaturgical strategies and structures needed in order to make a political action. We will examine further the dramaturgical and performative qualities of specific protests and other non-theatrical events. We will try to use the knowledge and the experience of individual dramaturgical practices and creative methodologies and apply it to a wider social context. The questions are: “What kind of political action do we propose and produce through our artistic practice? How can we use our skills to construct new types of social situations?”
The focus will be on the concept of social choreography (Andrew Hewitt). The participants will discuss the notion of public and private, the relation between politics and aesthetics.
The aim of the workshop is to make visible the position of the dramaturge as an artist and practitioner in the contemporary field of art and the dominant mode of production.
