Andreea Căpitănescu
În cadrul eXplore dance festival #8, Andreea Căpitănescu este mentor în cadrul programului Meet the Next Generation.
Andreea Căpitănescu este director artistic și curator al eXplore dance festival – Bucharest International Contemporary Dance and Performance Festival, președinte al Asociației 4Culture și curator WASP – Working Art Space and Production. Între 2008-2013 este manager de proiect în cadrul proiectului european Jardin d’Europe, iar între 2013 – 2018 în proiectul european Life Long Burning, rețele europene de cooperare în care 4Culture este co-organizator. Alte proiecte derulate includ Platforma Romanească de Dans Contemporan și Performance 2012, Austrian Dance Days, Balkan Dance Platform, PerForming the body (2006-2007), 4Projects (2006-2007), rezidențe și producții internaționale.
În 2006 a beneficiat de bursa danceWEB Viena, participând la workshopuri, proiecte de coaching și mentorship (cu Mathilde Monnier și Loic Touze), precum și la peste 35 de performance-uri în cadrul ImPulsTanz Festival.
În perioada 2004-2005 a predat cursuri de dans contemporan la secția de Coregrafie a UNATC. A absolvit Liceul de Coregrafie Floria Capsali și studii de coregrafie la UNATC “I.L. Caragiale” în 2004.

Andreea Căpitănescu is the artistic director and curator of eXplore dance festival – Bucharest International Contemporary Dance and Performance Festival, president of the 4Culture Association and curator at WASP – Working Art Space and Production. She was the project manager, between 2008 – 2013, for the European multi-annual project Jardin d’Europe, and between 2013-2018 for the European project Life Long Burning. Other projects include the Romanian Contemporary Dance and Performance Platform 2012, Austrian Dance Days, Balkan Dance Platform, PerForming the body (2006-2007), 4Projects (2006-2007), residences and international productions.
In 2006 she was the recipient of the danceWEB scholarship in Vienna, where she attended in workshops, coaching projects, mentorship (lead by Mathilde Monnier and Loic Touze), and over 35 performances during ImPulsTanz Festival.
She taught contemporary dance at UNATC during 2004-2005; she graduated from Floria Capsali choreography highschool and studied choreography at UNATC “I.L. Caragiale”.
