In the #8 edition of eXplore dance festival, Mila Pavičević will be present with a Dramaturgy Workshop and a Coaching Project in the Meet the Next Generaton programme.
Mila Pavičević was born in 1988 in Dubrovnik, where she graduated from high school. She is a 2nd year MA student of Comparative Literature and Greek Language and Literature at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb, and a 2st year MA student of Dramaturgy at the Academy of Dramatic Arts.
Her works have been published in various foreign and Croatian magazines, so far she has published several poetry collections, which have been translated into several languages. Her works have won her several prizes. Her collection “Ice Girl and Other Fairy-tales” has won the European Union Prize for young authors and the book has been translated into several languages.
Besides writing actively, Mila is especially interested in contemporary dance and various interpretations of Brecht’s theater.
Currently she works as the editor of the students’ magazine for literary and cultural theory “K” of the Department for Contemporary Literature.
