WASP Working Art Space and Production hosts, between June 19 and July 10, 2019, two creative residences in the frame of the European cooperation project Life Long Burning – Towards a Sustainable Eco System for Contemporary Dance in Europe, sustained by European Union, Creative Europe Programme 2018 – 2022.
The first artists invited at WASP were Hygin Delimat and Martyna Lorenc (AT), between 19 and 29 June 2019, for the preparation of the BETON performance. The two were nominated by danceWEB Vienna, the residence being supported through the Dance Hub activity within the European Life Long Burning project. The public presentation of the BETON performance took place on June 28, at the Performance, Architecture and Landscape Symposium, organized in Bucharest.
The second residence takes place between June 30 and July 10, 2019 and it is the one of the artists Eve Chariatte and Laura Kirschenbaum (FR). Nominated by ICI – CCN Montpellier through the Dance Hub activity, the two artists are also in Romania within the Life Long Burning 2019 European cooperation project to prepare the Diaphragm Leap!? performance.
The artists will share the practices dedicated to the preparation of this work in a workshop held daily from July 2 to July 10 at WASP Working Art Space and Production, between 10:00 and 11:30.
The public presentation of the Diaphragm Leap!? performance took place in Bucharest within the Performance, Architecture and Landscape Symposium on July 2.
This manifestation is organized in the frame of Romania – France 2019 Season.

Life Long Burning – Towards A Sustainable Eco-System for Contemporary Dance sustains the contemporary dance and performance scene in Europe.
