Other’s Moments is a duet between a dancer and an actor; a multi layered piece which incorporates spoken word with a fusion of Latin American and Contemporary dance techniques.

The love theme between a couple is frequently used in dance and art; however, this piece focuses on the reasons that keep a relationship together. Is it convenience, obsession, dependence, desire, belonging or the need for the other sex? Is it possible to love someone without loving yourself first?

Originary from Romania, Casandra completed her BA (Hons) in Choreography at the National University of Theatre and Cinematography „I.L.Caragiale”, Bucharest. She has more than ten years experience in Latin American and Ballroom dances, achieving in several top ten rankings in national competitions. In 2011 Casandra obtained a scholarship in England to do her Masters Degree in Performance at University of Chichester. Since 2011 Casandra has also been a member of Surrey Dance Collective. In January 2013 Casandra presented her first professional work “Other’s Moments” as part of UK’s biggest dance platform, “Resolution!”, at The Place, in London.
