Program eXplore dance festival #9
eXplore dance festival aduce încă o dată în fața publicului său un program concentrat și intens, ce chestionează mișcarea și prezența corpului, testând limitele tehnologiei versus arta conceptuală, dezvoltând dramaturgii în mișcare, și adresându-se unui public extins.
Ediția a 9-a a festivalului reflectă programul internațional de rezidențe și producții internaționale dezvoltate în ultimul an, în București, de către Asociația 4 Culture și WASP, încurajând experimentele creative ce depășesc granițele artistice, căutând noi formate de artă trans-disciplinară.
SPECTACOLE
Programul de spectacole din cadrul eXplore dance festival #9 este compus dintr-o selecție de creații ce introduc publicului cele mai puternice voci ale scenei europene de dans. Utilizând o varietate de direcții artistice și influențe estetice, spectacolele din program își propun să costruiască un dialog nou și necesar despre corpul contemporan, cu toate straturile sale politice, emoționale și sociale.
Un corp golit de sens, aflat în căutarea unui nou conținut, într-o eră a consumerismului. Un corp fără nici un punct de referință, în afara propriei minți.

Platforma X
Anul acesta eXplore dance festival prezintă o selecție de lucrări din cadrul expoziției Platforma X, rezultatul celei mai noi rezidențe internaționale de artă în cadrul cercetării și producției de proiecte trans-media noi și interactive din București, găzduită de WASP – Working Art Space and Production. Expoziția Platforma X este curată de Olivia Nitiș. Mentori: Marilena Preda-Sânc, Ciprian Ciuclea, Jan Eugen și Cosmina Chițuc.
Platforma X este un proiect organizat de: Asociația 4 Culture, WASP – Working Art Space and Production, Tangaj Dance & Life Long Burning, cu sprijinul programului Cultura 2007 — 2013 al Uniunii Europene. Susținut de Experimental Project.
Proiect cultural finanțat de: AFCN — Administrația Fondului Cultural Național și Centrul de Proiecte Culturale al Municipiului București — ARCUB, prin Programul Cultural București 555.

The 9th edition of the festival is a reflection of the international residency and production programs developed in the last year, in Bucharest, by 4Culture and WASP, encouraging creative experiments beyond artistic borders, searching for new formats of trans-disciplinary art.
PERFORMANCES
eXplore dance festival #9 performances program consists of a selected number of works, introducing to the audience strong voices of nowadays European dance scene. Using a variety of artistic directions and aesthetic influences, the program aims of building a new and necessary dialogue about contemporary body, with all its political, emotional and social messages. A body drained of meaning, looking for a new, upgraded content in a consumerism era. A body without any reference points then its own brain.

X Platform
This year eXplore dance festival will present selected works from the X Platform exhibition, resulted from the newest international art residency for the research and production of interactive, new and trans media projects in Bucharest, hosted by WASP – Working Art Space and Production. X Platform exhibition is curated by Olivia Nițiș. Mentors: Marilena Preda-Sânc, Ciprian Ciuclea, Jan Eugen and Cosmina Chițuc.
